I am an enthusiastic Maths teacher with more than 11 years of experience in aiding students both at the Basic and Secondary school levels. It makes me happy when learners develop confidence, learn how to face problems and realize that maths is an interesting subject that can be mastered. In my classes, everything is all about patience, encouragement and catering for the diverse needs of individual students. My biggest motivation in life is creating an enabling atmosphere for students to get actively involved in classroom work, perform better academically and maximize their potential.
I use a student-centred approach to teaching, making lessons simple, interactive, and practical. I explain concepts step by step, use real-life examples and teaching materials, and encourage students to ask questions and participate actively. I assess students' understanding through exercises, quizzes, and assignments. I also adapt my teaching methods to meet the individual learning needs of each student.
