I am a dedicated and passionate educator with over five years of experience in teaching, educational leadership, student mentoring, lesson planning, and academic assessment. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A. Ed.) in Islamic Studies from Bayero University, Kano, and have additional training in English, educational technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics.
Throughout my teaching career, I have gained experience in developing lesson plans, preparing instructional materials, assessing students’ performance, managing classrooms, and supporting students’ academic and moral development. I have also served in leadership and administrative roles, including Head of Department and hostel supervision, which have strengthened my communication, organisation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
My teaching philosophy is centred on making learning clear, engaging, inclusive, and relevant to students’ everyday lives. I believe every learner has the potential to succeed when provided with appropriate guidance, encouragement, and effective teaching methods. I strive to create a supportive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, confidence, discipline, and independent learning.
I have a particular interest in Islamic Studies, educational development, digital learning, and the application of Artificial Intelligence in education. I am committed to continuous professional development and to using innovative teaching strategies and technology to improve learning outcomes.
As a tutor, I aim to help learners understand difficult concepts, develop essential skills, achieve their academic goals, and become confident, independent learners. I am responsible, patient, adaptable, and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity.
