Struggling to turn class notes into exam marks? I help IGCSE students understand the content and answer questions the way Cambridge examiners expect.

I'm a certified educator with a Bachelor of Arts in Education (Makerere University) and an official Teaching Certificate. I have been tutoring since 2018, first in the classroom and now online, so I know how to explain hard topics simply.

Teaching approach

I believe every student can succeed when lessons are clear, structured and patient. I start by finding out where the student is: what they already know, where they struggle, and what their exam goal is. Then I build lessons around that.

1.Simple explanations first: I break big topics into small steps and use real-life examples, so ideas stick instead of being memorised and forgotten. 2.Exam-focused practice: We work through Cambridge-style questions and mark schemes, so students learn what examiners look for and how to structure strong answers. 3.Interactive lessons: I ask questions, encourage discussion and let students explain topics back to me. This builds confidence and shows what needs more work. 4.Regular feedback: After each lesson, I point out strengths, correct mistakes kindly and set short tasks to review. 5.Respectful and encouraging: I create a calm space where students feel comfortable asking questions, including for sensitive subjects like Islamiyat. My aim is for students to leave each lesson understanding more, feeling more confident, and moving closer to their target grade.
