I make explanations fun and engaging by connecting them to the student's interests and goals — whether that's acing an interview, passing the IELTS, or just speaking with confidence. For practice, I use a practice-led approach: role-plays, guided conversations, sentence drills, and interactive activities that get the student speaking as much as possible, not just listening. I assess progress through quick checks — asking students to use the new language in their own words, giving specific feedback on pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary, and noting recurring errors. Then I adapt by adjusting the pace, simplifying or deepening the material, and tailoring future lessons to focus on the areas that need the most work. I stay patient and consistent throughout, making sure every student feels supported and never rushed.
