I teach Mathematics through clear explanations, structured practice, and lessons tailored to each student’s level and goals. I begin by identifying the learner’s strengths, weaknesses, syllabus requirements, and areas of difficulty. Each lesson usually starts with a short review, followed by a step-by-step explanation of the new concept using simple language, examples, diagrams, or practical applications.
After introducing the topic, I demonstrate worked examples and explain the reasoning behind every step. The student then completes guided practice with my support before attempting similar questions independently. I correct mistakes carefully, explain why they occurred, and provide targeted exercises to strengthen understanding.
I adjust the pace and difficulty according to the learner. Students who need extra support receive simpler explanations, repetition, and additional practice, while advanced students work on challenging and exam-style questions. I also focus on accuracy, problem-solving, time management, and proper mathematical presentation.
At the end of each lesson, I summarise key points, review progress, and suggest suitable practice. My aim is to help students understand Mathematics, build confidence, and become independent learners who can solve unfamiliar problems with confidence.
