I am an experienced Mathematics tutor with a Master’s degree in Mathematics and current PhD research experience in Applied Science. My academic background includes working as a Mathematics lecturer, Research and Teaching Assistant, course planner, and applied mathematics researcher. I have taught and supported students across different academic levels, including secondary school, O Level, A Level, foundation, and university-level mathematics.
My teaching approach is clear, structured, and student-focused. I begin by assessing the student’s current understanding, learning goals, syllabus requirements, and areas of difficulty. Each lesson is then organised into concept explanation, worked examples, guided practice, independent problem-solving, and a short review. I explain difficult topics step by step and connect mathematical ideas with practical examples whenever possible.
I adapt my teaching style to suit different learners. Students who need more support receive slower explanations, additional examples, and repeated practice, while stronger students are given advanced questions and exam-focused challenges. I also help students improve their mathematical reasoning, calculation accuracy, time management, and confidence.
Students can expect well-prepared lessons, structured practice, constructive feedback, and regular progress monitoring. My goal is not only to help students obtain correct answers but also to understand the methods, recognise common mistakes, and become independent problem-solvers.
