As a physicist specialising in Experimental Plasma Physics, I have completed my M.Phil. research on plasma parameters using an RF Generator in an Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) setup. I am interested in pursuing a PhD in the field of Experimental Plasma, specifically in Plasma surface interaction, Plasma-based sustainability chemistry, and Gas discharge plasmas. I am an independent researcher with strong analytical and communication skills.
During my academic journey, I have studied a range of advanced subjects that are directly relevant to my research, including Basic Plasma Physics Theory, Industrial Plasma Physics, Quantum Field Theory, Advanced Quantum Mechanics, and Methods and Techniques of Experimental Physics I. These courses have provided me with a strong theoretical foundation andpractical skills essential for my research work, particularly in operating and performing experiments using the ICP system and analyzing data with varying probe lengths. I completed my studies with a CGPA of 3.4 out of 4.0, reflecting my dedication and proficiency in the field
During my BS in Physics, I studied a broad range of subjects, including Nuclear Physics, Plasma Physics, Electricity and Magnetism, Quantum Physics I & II, Basic and Advanced Electronics. Additionally, I completed fundamental courses such as Mechanics I & II, along with essential lab courses that were integral to meeting the degree requirements. I achieved a CGPA of 3.3 out of 4.0, equivalent to 71% marks, demonstrating my solid academic foundation and commitment to the field of physics. I have also done a project related to Magnetic Levitation and i got 2nd position in Physics Science Exhibition in Faisalabad Division
As a research assistant in the Plasma Physics Laboratory under Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shafiq, I was responsible for operating various plasma-generating setups, including Capacitive Coupled Plasma (CCP) and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP). My duties also involved conducting Raman Spectroscopy, Hardness Vickers testing, and gaining substantial experience with the Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) technique. This role provided me with hands-on experience in advanced experimental techniques critical to Plasma Physics research.
During this time, I served as a teaching assistant in the Chemistry Department under Prof. Dr. M. Shafiq. My responsibilities included: •Assisting in the preparation and delivery of lectures. •Conducting laboratory sessions and ensuring safety protocols were followed. •Providing academic support to students through tutoring and guidance on course material. •Grading assignments and exams, and offering constructive feedback. •Curriculum development and improving teaching methodologies. This experience allowed me to develop strong communication and instructional skills, which I continue to apply in my current role as a physics teacher.
