I am an experienced English teacher with around 3 years of teaching experience with children, teenagers, and adults in both online and classroom settings. I have taught students from different backgrounds and proficiency levels, including learners from China and Taiwan.
My teaching approach is student-centered, engaging, and practical. I adapt my lessons to each learner’s age, level, interests, and learning goals rather than using the same approach for everyone. I use interactive activities, visual materials, guided practice, conversation, and real-life examples to help students understand and actively use English.
For younger learners, I focus on keeping lessons interactive and enjoyable while building vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and confidence. With teenagers and adults, I place more emphasis on communication, useful vocabulary, grammar accuracy, and speaking fluency. I also use students’ personal interests to increase engagement and motivation.
I have experience teaching English to adults through the American Council and other language-training settings, as well as teaching children and teenagers through online platforms. I am comfortable teaching different levels and adapting my teaching style based on student feedback and progress.
My goal is not only to teach English, but to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, asking questions, and gradually becoming more confident and independent English users.
